Michael Keller is a Partner at Slappey & Sadd, where he focuses exclusively on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Since joining the firm in 2018, Michael has built a reputation for securing substantial recoveries on behalf of individuals and families harmed by negligence.
Slappey & Sadd operates as a low-volume firm, intentionally limiting its caseload to devote significant time, attention, and resources to each matter. This approach allows Michael and his team to develop cases more thoroughly, work closely with clients, and pursue maximum results rather than quick resolutions—an advantage that is critical in complex, high-stakes litigation.
Michael has successfully represented clients in sophisticated cases involving product liability, trucking and automobile collisions, premises liability, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, and other serious injury matters. His track record includes multiple seven- and eight-figure results, including:
- $40 million motor vehicle wreck (confidential settlement)
- $12 million medical malpractice jury verdict involving improper administration of medicine
- $8.5 million product liability (confidential settlement)
- $7.75 million premises liability (confidential settlement)
- $7.4 million premises liability jury verdict involving a fractured hip requiring multiple surgeries
- $3 million negligent trucking delivery (confidential settlement)
- $2.95 million premises liability (confidential settlement)
- $2.5 million truck wreck (confidential settlement)
- $2.4 million premises liability and motor vehicle wreck (confidential settlement)
- $2.4 million dram shop settlement involving a passenger severely injured by a drunk driver
- Multiple additional seven-figure recoveries in premises liability, trucking and motor vehicle collisions, dram shop, and product-related cases
Michael earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law in 2012, and holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
Before joining Slappey & Sadd, Michael represented physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers in all phases of litigation at a large insurance defense firm. This experience gives him valuable insight into defense strategies, which he leverages to advocate effectively for his injured clients.
Michael lives in Atlanta with his wife, Gina, their daughters, Sydney and Jordan, and their dog, Henry. Outside the office, he enjoys watching football, playing softball and hockey, and spending time with his family.
Michael is committed to helping clients navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives with clarity, compassion, and relentless advocacy.
Client Reviews
The services my family received from Slappey & Sadd, LLC has been very rewarding. Thank you for your help over the last years.
I was treated fairly. You are very professional, knowledgeable, expert, kind and very thorough.
The times I’ve used your firm it was a wonderful experience. The attorney kept me abreast of my case, what to expect. If I know anyone in need of a law firm, Slappey & Sadd I will refer. I especially appreciate the cards received annually. Thank you.
He is very responsive in returning my calls and seems to be prepared for the next action that needs to be addressed. Scott is very professional, but always add the personal touch. As for receiving a disability pension from the City of Atlanta, it makes me feel good as a client that he is looking out...
Scott is the best. He followed my case all the way. We won. I respect him highly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
